I want to thank you Melissa for creating an incredible experience in Ireland. It was the best trip I have ever taken. I loved everything about it, the countryside with green pastures with wandering cows and sheep. The lake, the mountains, the ocean and the people. Learning how to watercolor has allowed me to see the world in a whole new light. I am so grateful to have had this experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time there! I adore how you are flexible with sensing the groups emotional needs, yet rigid with the wisdom to know discipline and keeping people on task is important when it comes to producing art. Of all the art instructors I’ve had in my lifetime, you are only the 2nd one I’ve ever experienced that “gets” this and utilizes it effectively. The circle and spiritual time only adds icing to an already well built cake! I felt so comfortable and like I had been part of your group for lifetimes. I admire your style of teaching and hope to emulate it when I start teaching children again in the spring.

In your instruction, you come from a place of great respect and love for each opening flower.  Others may talk of technique but without the spiritual connection there is not the inner stirring to join in the dance  You are highly qualified to teach us all aspects of technique and go beyond that to light our inner flame.

The workshop was amazing, and just what I needed. I came back with different eyes. I had been hoping to find ways to reconnect in Spirit, and the music, meditating and dancing all were perfect for me. Thank you so much for sharing all you did and for nurturing each of us. I feel like the mad hatter returning from a very fast rabbit hole adventure!… I felt very blessed to have been guided to you and this particular group experience. I loved every part of it. I especially liked having the creative process role modeled: gathering around the spiritual well, invoking and giving thanks for guidance, clearing the energy space with smudge stick or incense, soulful music that brings forth strong feelings and helps shut off the mind chatter and enhances creative flow.

I loved the guided meditation as a source of inspiration…like a beautiful movie running in my head. I could do many more paintings from just those two that we did. I loved being part of a group of women artists whom I felt very deeply connected without really knowing them or needing to explain anything.

Meeting you was the highlight of the expo for me. Your art uplifts & inspires me. It beautifully reminds me to always keep reaching and to embrace it all.
