Spectrum 2016

LOGO W TEACHERSI love being able to give gifts of creativity away! And because I’m a guest teacher in Spectrum 2016 I have one spot to give-away as part of the Spectrum Blog-Hop Giveaway.

My bonus offering for Spectrum 2016 is a course on Finding and Maintaining Creative Inspiration. In my workshop I share exercises and methods  from my own creative toolbox to lead you to your own jumping off place.  You can use any number of different mediums to find joy in your own unique, organic creations by combining some of these fun tips.  Some of these can be set up as on-going projects that you can add to at your leisure and others will be quick instant gratification expressions.

What is Spectrum? It is an online Holistic-Creative workshop going on its third year, and organized by Hali Karla of Hali Karla Arts. Spectrum 2016 will give you access to 40 teachers offering a variety of workshops, inspiration and invitations – all intended to empower, nurture and celebrate your innate creative expression, healing journey, and personal development!

I was so taken by your painting “ANything is Possible” that I shared it on PInterest and on My Art Page on FaceBook. https://www.facebook.com/TisArtandSoulStudio/
It was very timely and syncronous with the messages I’ve been recieving lately. I love the colors, they really resonated with me. I’ve wanted to participate in Spectrum since I first heard about it. So here’s my bid for a spot. “Anything is Possible” afterall!

I found “Anything is Possible” years ago… in the form of a notecard. I framed it and it’s on the wall above my little shelf of special things. This image has inspired me and gotten me through some challenging times; it always bring me a sense of peace and calmness and encourages me to open up to future possibilities and “let go” of weighty things that I don’t need to carry on my shoulders any longer. Thank you, Melissa, all of your artwork is absolutely beautiful! I’ve posted and tagged this image on my Facebook page (Anne O’Donnell) and would like to be entered into your Spectrum 2016 Blog-Hop Giveaway 🙂

I am very drawn to the painting “Opening.” The idea of doorways and portals that exist everywhere if we could only see them and open them is fascinating to me. When I see this painting that’s what I see a woman, opening a portal that will lead to her transformation.

I shared both A Touch of Pink and For a Dreamer on Pinterest. I love the calm coolness of A Touch of Pink and the warm rich colors of For a Dreamer. I quite often sit in front of a window in the sunshine and just gaze out at life happening right outside. And dream.

I chose “A Mother’s Treasure” It reminds of my most joyful job that of being a mother. It also touches my heart because when I first had my daughter Channon, I was scared to death because of her Down Syndrome and wasn’t quite sure how to be a mother to a child with special needs. It has been a wonderful and challenging adventure and such a joy. Your work is beautiful Melissa and I hadn’t seen this picture before. Thank you for sharing your talent! ♡♡♡

Ohhhh, I fell in love with so many of your paintings, but “So Many Options” seems to be Me! 🙂 Then I placed your post about your book “Painting Outside the Lines” on these Pinterest Boards: Watercolor, Painting and Drawing and WWRWW. Your Pilgrimages look divine! If I win the lottery – I’m a-goin’ if you still have room! I also subscribed to your newsletter, I can’t wait to see the first issue. Thanks so much for this chance to win a place in “The Spectrum”. It has been a joy to visit your site. Blessings to you in all your endeavors.
