Title: To Demeter
Blank inside, with meditation on the back:
Jean prepared herself to take her place among the women
who had shared the gift of giving birth.
In this time of preparation she experienced
a profound relationship
with all living things around her,
indeed, with life itself.
We did this painting of my pregnant friend while she was 9 months pregnant and hoped to get through the painting session before she gave birth!
